When setting up an election, you may not have your voter information readily available, and will therefore be unable to either upload a list of voters, or manually add voters to your election.
Using the voter registration system will enable your voters to pre register for your election.
To begin the setup process, in your election dashboard navigate to Settings > voter registration as shown below.
Once you have activated this feature, voters will be able to navigate to your election login page (details of where to find the url below)
You may advertise this url using an email blast, or on a private web page only accessible to your voters, we don’t advise promoting this in a public space.
As your voters register, they will receive an email asking them to authenticate themselves prior to becoming added to your voter list.
Once they have authenticated themselves, they will be added to your voter list, and a voter key and ID will be generated.
